A heartfelt story about a diverse group of residents living in Rest View, a home for senior citizens, who, feeling useless and abandoned by society, form an action group and demand changes in their living conditions. They want a garden, real flowers in the dayroom, they want the staff to not wear uniforms, they would like a dog or cat, and to the utter bewilderment of Mr. Day, the director, they want Harold, a resident with the mind of an eight year old boy, to teach them how to fly.
