Honor, Pride, And Prejudice
In Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth is angry at Mr. Darcy for his supposed treatment of Mr. Wickham, and he in turn feels that he cannot confide in her because of his pride in his family. What if he felt honor bound to tell her the truth at the Netherfield ball? Would they come to an understanding faster? Would more misunderstandings ensue?
This story starts at the beginning of Ch. 18 of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, when the Bennets arrive at the Netherfield ball on November 26.
Follow our beloved characters as they suffer miscommunications and disasters to find each other. With a few added twists, including a trip to London and some improper behavior, see how it will all turn out. Filled with angst, find out how long it takes for them to come to an understanding, or if they make it at all.
