Hidden World, Past, Present, and future — Sandra Golden

J.R Black and Helaina Unity are not just your ordinary teenagers, even if they think they are. Many generations ago their destiny was charted out, thanks to a time machine, and now they have no choice but to follow the path their ancestors set them on. On this path they discover a Hidden World and a lot of secrets which their families have protected. Including the fact that their ancestors came from another planet.

This is a unique story about teen-age cousins whose family came to Earth ten generations ago. It was also predicted that “The Ones”, would become the hero's that would protect their new home, and bring Unity to the world. J.R Black, and Helaina Unity are teen-agers that have to learn who they are, and what they are the hard way, and at the same time be your normal everyday teen-agers. But it can be difficult to hide the truth especially after the two young hero's begin developing special skills, that they have to learn how to control and use in the right situations. With secret cities hidden around the world, and right under their very noses, their super hero talents, a machine that they build to time travel in, they go on exciting adventures of discovery.

About our hero's. J.R Black is a typical 15 year old who can build anything, and has a talent for drawing detailed blue prints of machines yet to be invented. He can turn the simplest things into amazing gadgets. Oh Yes, he can also levitate. And those are just the beginning of his talents for he gains more skills as the story progresses. He also has a talent for getting into trouble. Helaina Unity was born the same exact day as her cousin J.R, she has visions which leads the pair to finding four jewels, this begins their journey of adventure. They find the jewels hidden behind a waterfall, the next day they discover that the waterfall has disappeared. The jewels they find are used to build a machine that will take them forward and back in time. It's a machine only they can use. Helaina also has a love of animals and can communicate with them. The two cousins have adventures under the sea, and above. Helaina dances with a giant star fish, and together with her cousin they save a undersea science station, and that's just the beginning. And that's before their machine is even built. After it's built the adventures get much more interesting.


In Unity there are a couple of adversaries. The first comes from a Senator who has issues with the Unity company and believes they are hiding something. (Which they are) He tries to kidnap Helaina. Their next adversaries are the Chin brothers. When they complete their Jewel Machine a powerful beam of energy is released that connects the Machine to their home planet. The beam of energy then travels down through the earth, passing through one of their secret cities and exits the others side of the planet. It exits through a building owned by the Chin brothers. The Chin brothers absorbs the energy and turn evil, because they aren't part of the Alien race. They begin their evil attacks on the Unity Corporation and try to blow up a oil refinery, but J.R and Helaina save the day. The other adversary is quite subtle, it man kind itself, and the things they do to destroy the environment, and economy. J.R and Helaina's destiny is to Unite the world as one population and become a planetwho can accept those that are different and live a peaceful existence. My story has lots of messages hidden within, lots of secrets that need to be hidden or discovered. It's also full of fun and mischief that teen-agers love to get into.

J.R and Helaina must work together to solve lots of mysteries and they have fun doing it. But with all the mysteries, and adventures they have to learn to accept what life has to give them and what they can give to the world. Keeping secrets becomes a way of life, as they work together with their families, to find a way to get the people of Earth to accept Unity and to live in peace.
