Gabi is looking for a man who will put God first...Jess is not sure God cares what happens in his life. When Gabi shares her past with Jess will all hope of love be shattered?
Another excellent addition to Debra's Mule Hollow collection. This is a series worth reading from book 1 to book 20!

Mule Hollow Homecoming
This book concentrates on the middle brother of the Holden family, Jess. Jess was the one most effected by his parents' situation. He cannot forgive his mother for walking out on his family and leaving them with a drunk father. Now she wants to be a part of his life and he wants nothing of it - but his older brother, who raised him, tells him he has to make peace with her...
Then there's Gabi Newberry. Gabi is new the the Christian life. Before salvation, she was engaged and drinking and partying. After an accident that could have ruined her life, she found Jesus and went on the straight and narrow. Now she's helping the cowboy figure out what plant is killing the Holden cows.
As the couple falls in love, issues come up. Mainly, her drinking and life of partying in the past is a real hard thing for Jess to accept. His brothers are understanding in this, and I am to. Then when the whole story is unleashed on him, he has to make a decision. Luke stays very strong and throws all the punches in a heart-to-heart, hold nothing back speech to his brother that isn't what Jess wanted to hear.
There's a big event that happens in this story that involves Colt. It will make you cry, so get your tissues ready. I've a feeling the author's going to let her Mule Hollow stories end with a bang loud enough for all of Texas to hear!
