The 28th Century celebrates seven hundred years of The Crowned Confederacy's rule over mankind and its space colonies.

In this second installment of the series, BOOK II: Her Eyes Were Crimson Red concludes the opening arc of The Silent Assassin, which began in the first book. Stakes are astronomically raised, as the villains deployed their true strength against the protagonists.

HER EYES WERE CRIMSON RED

With the death of Nagisawa Family, the survivors of Omega Kepler's attack now seek vengeance. They hired Audi Prabian to help them capture Jane Drake and her mercenary company, and find out who wanted Nagisawa Corporation destroyed. Audi decides to lure them into an oceanic world, Planet Varuna, and trap them underneath the submerged domed city without any possibility for escape.

Crown Prince Horlix Aurellus Leonard-Tanuya travels across the galaxy to root out the culprit who hired Omega Kepler to murder his lover, Henrietta. Evidences he gathered pinpoints a name: Prince Christopher Turner Tanuya, his younger cousin and second-in-line to the throne. Horlix must tread carefully, however, as the galaxy's most powerful politicians and capitalists stood behind Christopher's back.

The Omega Kepler Arc is reaching its conclusion. A final battle between Nagisawa Corporation and Omega Kepler rages underneath the oceans of Planet Varuna, while Horlix confronts Christopher about Henrietta's murder. Who will emerge triumphant? Can Audi defeat Omega Kepler before they kill their new target? Can Horlix lay rest to the murder case without triggering a galaxy-wide crisis? What is the common force that binds the seemingly separate conflicts that the two protagonists are fighting?

Amidst this chaos, The Crowned Confederacy of Mankind's darkest past will be unveiled.
