Hurricane Andrew, a shelter where there are many local residents and a family of very wealthy and obnoxious people. One of the arrogant snobs is murdered. Then another. Everyone seems crazy, then Nick finds they are all adicted to tranquilizers.That one of the family is the killer is obvious. Nobody else knew them there. There was one son who seemed to be a decent sort who didn't use the tranquilizers.Nick finds out what it was about, but can he find the actual killer?
