Dr Paul Konrad's arrogant statement was not calculated to please clinical teacher Sister Julia Carr. She had counted on letting her student nurses learn from his research into ways of preventing heart disease and she was quite prepared to do battle, even though his aura of ruthlessness nearly made her resolution falter.
But Julia found there was another - more tender - side to the doctor's complex character. Would her privileged glimpse of it really put her at risk of falling in love with a heartless womaniser?
