Hawks of Sorga — Summer Hanford

Aridian is finally settling into his new life as heir to the Dukedom of Sorga, but his happiness is shattered by the sacking of Hawkers, a small village tucked into the northern mountains. A foul Empty One known as the Caller, along with his massive army of undead wolves, murders the villagers, burns Hawkers to the ground, and slays the Sorga Hawks, longstanding messengers for the lords of Sorga. To defend his home, Aridian must learn to be the leader Sorga needs and find a way to defeat the ancient evil of the Caller, but can he balance what he deems just and good with the actions he must take to save those he loves?
