Jack Hanson, police reporter for the Fort Lauderdale Herald-Sun, is desperate to break away from his plodding daily routine. A series of bizarre deaths his supervisor and ex-girlfriend Dallas La Porte orders him to forget all about is the only excitement in his otherwise dull routine. Then Jack is handed the assignment of a lifetime when he is asked to cover the President's trip to the area. When the President cancels an important fundraising dinner and vanishes for several hours, everyone assumes he is up to his usual skirt-chasing. Only Jack realizes there is something more sinister at work, and must lay everything on the line to uncover the truth behind the mountain of corpses piling up at the morgue.
