During his less-than-stellar rock and roll career, Peter Thorpe had taken almost every drug known to man. Like most addicts, he simply can’t seem to break the habit. It isn't until he is given the choice between detox and prison that he reluctantly accepts his fate.At the South Florida Rehabilitation Center, Peter is teamed up with a celebrity drunk, a sex addict, a cutter, and a pair of skeletal teenagers known as “the vomit twins”. There he discovers group therapy is as much about the support of his new “family,” as it is about recovery.At times, their travails may seem humorous, and at others gut wrenching, but eventually, it all comes down to a very basic decision: quit or die.
