It would have to be a snowy day in July for something odd not to be going on in Pine Oak, Florida. And odder still if the small town's newspaper editor, Sue-Ann McKeown, didn't get wind of it--even if she didn't want to. In this stand-alone short story in the Small Town series, a member of Sue-Ann's bowling team disappears without a trace and her roommate is worried sick about her. Although Sue-Ann would much rather be riding her horse, she promises to look into it. But when Sue-Ann is on a case, someone usually ends up unhappy. Sue-Ann just hopes it isn't her.
