Chester Dyllis was numb. His perspective on life, even from a very young age, had always been even-keeled and grounded in reality. His dreams and passions had taken a backseat to the pressures of daily life. One fateful morning, his mother dies unexpectedly and the entire world as he once knew it is turned on its side. He starts to see visions of a past time. People and places from another age appear and vanish as if time was suddenly irrelevant. After he shockingly learns that he isn't mad, others begin to help him hone his ability. Only then does he understand the treacherous new normal he now lives in.
