Give Me Thy Vineyard
In the Ozarks lived a powerful man, Hiram Jackson. The mountains were a place of happiness to Hiram until the United Electric Company, which was also powerful, broke the freedom of the river -- the river once free and joyous to Hiram Jackson's unharnessed spirit. The fearless man of the hills refused to accept the check that would buy not only his land but his bondage. Soon a shot that split the mountain stillness sent the company adjuster to eternity and Hiram to a cave in the mountains.

Hiram hated well, but he loved well also. And he loved Rose Gurney. During the desolate years when he was hunted as a murderer, love for Rosie kept the innocent outlaw's spirit from being broken.

A stranger came to the mountains -- a stranger who brought to Hiram a message of salvation which makes a man free indeed.
