My parents died when I was young. As an orphan I was put into the S.O. program - where I was trained to be submissive and accommodating - until I was bought by a man named Tom. Tom taught me to fear everything - the consequences of my actions, other people, reading, talking, the world outside of our city, and him. Everyone in Jaspin feared the world outside our city, or more specifically, the Savages who lived there. They were renowned for doing vile things to a person before they killed them.When a rebellion started within Jaspin, Tom decided that we would travel to a different city. This meant we would pass through the Savages’ territory. It was a moonlit night that I encountered the glowing red eyes of the Savages. I quickly realized there were more things for me to fear. My world drastically changed that night under the light of the moon, and I learned that the adventure of my life had just begun. Under the watchful eyes of the Savages, I discovered that there was a strength in me that I had been unaware of. Question was, would it be enough to help me survive outside of the city?
