Fish Tails — Sheri S. Tepper

In Fish Tails, two of Sheri S. Tepper's beloved characters -- Abasio and Xulai (A Plague of Angels and The Waters Rising) -- and their children travel from village to village scattered across the sparsely populated land of Tingawa.
