Another short story from the "living in the desert" series with character Jude Potter.

It was a normal desert day, when Jude gets an emergency call from his friend Mike. Mike is caught in the middle of a fire and has been told that he needs to evacuate. Jude comes to help him get out of the area and gets caught in the fire.

Wildfire is one of the dangers of living in the desert with dry cheatgrass and brushes.
