17 year old Catrin Owen is a dutiful daughter devoted to family business; she helps her Uncle John run a small guesthouse situated next to the breathtaking mountainscape of Snowdon.



Catrin's father, Will Owen, is a mountaineer and tour guide who knows the secret to where the Snowdon lily plant grows.



But, he fears that his old age and risky lifestyle could one day rob his daughter of a father, which is why he is so keen for Catrin to marry...



The questionable suitor he has in mind is the heady Taran Davies, a young man who is determined to make Catrin his.



Catrin isn't even sure she has feelings for Taran and is torn between choosing him or Guto, the sweet farmer boy, as her husband.



But when the charming Phillip Meredith and his sister Judith arrive, with intentions of finding the Snowdon lilly, things take an unexpected turn.



Taran's jealously over Catrin's friendship with Phillip drives him to seek other ways of making her his, he knows he must get one over Phillip and show him who the stronger man is and prove himself as a true contestant of Catrin's love.



Phillip and Judith tell Catrin they are looking for the Snowdon lilly for the sake of a photography competition, which guarantees the winner a cash reward. While Phillip doesn't care much about the money and is interested more in Catrin, Judith is desperate for it, as it is the key she needs to escape her arranged marriage to Richard Sullivan.



Yet when they all find that Snowdon lilly has been dug up and stolen from its roots, Judith loses hope and believes Richard is the evil master mind behind this tragedy.



Sympathetic to their cause and drawn to Phillip's charm, Catrin decides to help him and Judith find the last secret location, unknowingly dragging herself into a race against time, where her life and heart is at stake.
