They were the Bulldogs - a platoon of helicopter pilots stationed along the west border, just a few klicks from Cambodia and Laos. Their names were Danly, Bookman, Barnes, Spradling, Gray, and Winters - and for all their differences, they were a team. The Bulldogs flew missions against an invisible enemy, several times a day, practically every day.And some of them - the lucky ones - even made it home.
