A wealthy woman has asked Felicia and Joan to be her companions on a tour of Europe. While in Rome, Felicia and Joan are harassed by a desperate-sounding man begging for money to feed his children. Felicia finally agrees to loan him some money and keeps the man's violin as collateral. But someone other than the owner is intent on getting his hands on that violin and is not above putting Felicia and her friends in real danger.
