A novel based upon the life of Rohingya. Imagine you were denied an identity or a place to call home. Your rights to study, work, travel, marry and practice your religion didn't exist - because you belong nowhere. You're not given any way to prove who you are or where you're from, which restricts your ability to gain full citizenship status. Wherever you try to find refuge you're locked up in detention because of who you are. Therefore, they decide to migrate in search of a place where they can live peacefully. This is the life of a Rohingya person. Is there a place on the face of the world for their feet to rest?Surrounded military junta and the local Buddhists, they find that the only safest direction to move ahead is towards sea. Aisha is just one of the most persecuted souls in the Rohingyan village. Her husband was taken by the militia, and soon she is in deep trouble to save her family, especially her son from being killed, and young sister from being raped. The situation warrants Aysha to embark the boat as there was no option left for her. They set off, leaving their home, and all the memories. to cross the water, the Andaman Sea. . will they be able get a place to set their feet?UNHCR estimates that 130,000 Rohingya have fled Bangladesh and western Arakan state since the outbreak of violence in 2012. As a result, the Burmese Navy and local security forces are profiting off the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya in western Burma by demanding payments from smugglers who deliver Rohingya to human traffickers, as well as Rohingya desperately seeks passage. Forced to venture by boat to trafficking camps on remote Thai islands, the Rohingya are faced with violence, lack of food and water (often forced to drink their own urine), and those who have fallen victim to disease are thrown overboard if dead or close to dying.
