So Rebecca journeys all the way from New York to the wild west to meet and marry Anthony.

Anthony Daniels, a trader in town, is overjoyed at the arrival of his mail order bride. The other three women deliver their best wishes to Anthony and ask him how many letters he received from his ad. Rebecca's was the only one. But the women uncover a bundle of letters replying to the ad that Ester never delivered.

Further digging reveals, it was Ester who advised Anthony to apply for a mail-order bride. She had also encouraged the other three women's husbands to do the same. Together, the three women hire a Pinkerton detective to investigate Ester
