Escape from Earth — Albert Clark

This is volume 2 of ancient destiny, the evacuation of Earth just prior to Earth being destroyed by a moon size object from intersteller space. Deals with the actual construction of forty 1000 person colony sized space ships, the discovery of earthlike planets, selection of humans and stocking of the colony ships, the launch, the journey and the start of colonization of other planets now that Earth is gone.
