Trapped in a realm between dimensions for reasons beyond his grasp, Tekaijus had expected to find himself in the familiar lands of Earth upon escape. Instead, he has mistakenly found himself in a medieval war-torn country known as the Southlands. Cast into the bowels of this alien world ripe with demons and warlocks that seek to end him, he must fight to uncover a way back home-or die trying.
Before the boy can uncover a safe passage home, he finds himself allied with an Amazonian witch, a rogue agent from the modern world, and an insider of the Four Clans. Each brought to these cold barren lands for their own sense of retribution; they must battle against the Clansman armies and their demon hordes to restore a peace that was ripped from the land long ago.
Originally under the impression that this was a simple war between the humans of the New Kingdom and the immortals of the Four Clans, the squad fought strategically and craftily to achieve victory. With strange coincidences and irregularities developing among the residents of the Southlands, however, it appears that there is a deeper conspiracy to unfold within the New Kingdom and the Four Clans that is hundreds of years in the making.
Masterminds and powerful entities that have been cloaked in mystery are slowly brought to light as Tekaijus begins to investigate the bizarre inconsistencies that arise. He must now learn their plans and goals in order to stop them before more innocent lives are claimed and more blood is shed.
In the course of battling against ancient lords and spiritual deities to protect the citizens of the New Kingdom, Tekaijus comes to the realization that he may not be as human as he originally thought...
Things suddenly begin to take an unexpected turn when he finds his humanity whittling away in the process of uncovering a lost history and heritage dating back to ancient times. Currently in the course of rediscovering potential roots and origins, he must obtain a new sense of identity-all while protecting everyone around him and outwitting his enemies in the process.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany and raised in America the majority of his life, Roscoe has forever possessed a passion for the written word and has always found a power in it. He has typically been captivated with incorporating the messiness of human living into the lives and personas of his characters; erecting trials and internal conflicts that even the most practical of people experience and can understand.
Dr. Melissa King Rogers, his Creative Writing teacher in high school, was truly the first person who helped him to better hone his writing skills and further his creative ambitions. Having stepped away from the familiar grounds of poetry and theatre, he now seeks to introduce another mainstream hero to stand beside the icons that are well-known in the American culture today. Chronicles of Armonian Soul, Book I: Enter the Southlands is the first step in accomplishing this goal.
As a military brat, Roscoe has had the luxury of moving across America during his childhood. While he does enjoy travel and seeks to do further trips back to Germany, he has firmly planted his roots in Atlanta, Georgia and considers the city his American home.
