This book depicts a story of a woman who travelled one end of the country to another end of it along with her relatives and a friend at a later stage of her life to pay her obeisance to Holy mother. But the destiny did stand on the way. After accidental separation from the group she got isolated. Thereupon she was subjected to physical and mental stress which narrowed down focus of her judgment.

On her return journey back home alone she was subjected to vagaries of social evil and landed into a place quite alien to her, totally out of course. She was in a poignant state, empathy was hard to come-by except from a very few who had limited resource or ability. It ultimately pushed her to a state mentally unstable; physically weak and squalid; could no way reconcile with the situation she was then.

Leaving everything to her fate, she started her return journey back alone. With no resource in hand, and in a world where only money talks, her effort to reach home was only one of fantasy.
