Earth Geeks Must Die! — R.L. Stine

I click the remote from channel to channel. On a fishing show, two men in a motorboat are pulling a strange two-headed fish from the water. On a game show, contestants are receiving jolts of electricity.

I click again, and we see a news program. "Earth Geeks have landed," the reporter announces solemnly. "Everyone should be on the lookout. The mayor-governor has declared a state of emergency."

I turn to Arlene. I can see by her face, that she has the same thought.

"Maybe we're the Earth Geeks! -- and they're out to get us!"
