One by one, the Dragon Council of Twelve, including the Dragon Mother Kierkegaard, have been overcome by a powerful cast of dark magic, magic that has splintered time into a shattered kaleidoscope of alternate-reality realms. With the aid of Arthur's team, the Companions set out to return to Camelot in the hopes of rebuilding all that had been lost. Along the way, Tash and Jase must find a way to rebuild their friendship as well as their long-lost marriages to the two most powerful men in history.
