The first book in this two part series ended abruptly on 9-11-2001 as the primary characters and friends were flying into New York City around 8:45 am. They'd flown to NY from Thacher Island aboard a Grumman flying boat for the purpose of picking up a recently purchased restored 1953 Grumman HU 16 Albatross. Throughout the first book your author has tried to weave the importance of historical dates into the tapestry of the story. The 2nd and final book in the series, picks-up exactly where the 1st book left off. For the Americans born between 1945 and 1964-the baby boomers, the significance of historical dates appears to be etched into the fiber of our beings. For those persons born to Generation X it appears that your parents have tried to protect you from everything. Although the story contained within the pages of this sequel is odd, just remember all that the "boomers" have endured throughout these technical times. They've gone to the moon through the phenomenon of a wired planet. Sometimes we need to think about the consequences of our actions.
