Zack Thornwood smells dead people, and dead people aren't happy about it. On the run from one-eyed Gus and other dead people, Zack heads to South America with self-titled Hunter of the Dead Xander Moon. They are on the trail of one the fabled 14 Pieces of Osiris, a mythical machine that gives the user power over the world's dead. He desperately needs to find this Piece before a host of dead people, led by the diabolical Miss Bubbles, get their boney hands on it and move one step closer to world domination.
