Donndub Lake is dead. Its waters, black and still, are an accurate reflection of its nearby towns. Old, ragged, and about as far from thriving cities as one can get, the Donndub Lake area seems like the perfect place for Andy Rast to settle down. She's got a past behind her, and the probability that anyone would ever think to come look for her in Donndub is remote. Dead waters run, well, dead. But Andy's forgotten that death is never as final as it seems, not when the past is never fully past, and history always bound to repeat itself.
