The world is separated into multiple Divisions.

Division One is made up of the living and Division Two was the… not so living. The Sentients and the Nosferatu, the Vampires. The Sentients and Nosferatu have been at war since the beginning. This was now our version of the circle of life. Kill the killers and die for the dead. There were two types of Vampires, Pure Blood and Turned, savages.

Division Three, were the Lycans, the shifters. The Lycan's had been the protectors of the Royal line of Division Two, banding together against the Sentients, keeping them from destroying all of our people. Division Four, the Magicks, were made up of witches, Vaundun, sorcery, and those who held no name and only power. They had remained hidden, never exposing themselves, and never forgetting that their ancestors had been tied to stakes in the ground and burned for being a witch.

Division Five, they were what the other's called “The Unknown”. They were made of fairytales and children's stories of faery, myth, and folklore. They hadn't joined this war, because they could hide. I didn't fault them for this, it wasn't cowardly, it was about survival. The only real difference between their survival and my own is that they could hide and I hadn't managed to stay hidden.

The Sentients have accepted my offer of a cease fire, for now. We have met many times now, discussing a peace treaty between our Divisions. Problem is, the Turned have declined my invitation to meet. They do not recognize a leader above themselves. We cannot sign a treaty between Divisions when our own Division continues to slaughter the Sentients. The Turned are now on the run, but we'd find them. We'd flush them out and do what needed to be done to save us all.

My name is Temperance Millicent, I am the Nosferatu Princess, and I died in order to start the end of the war. I pray it was worth my life. To whoever reads this, I hope you're safe, I hope you live to see tomorrow, and I offer you sanctuary. To those who stand against me, your treason will be your ending. Your willingness to stand against me will end with me standing over your dead body.

I've told you the story of how I died. Now I tell you the story of how we can survive.
