Cole has always felt a little apart from the rest of the teens -- no one else lost a child when they died. No one can understand this particular kind of pain. So he's kept himself apart, trying to hold on to his memories. But being alone too much can begin to take its toll, and memory can be tricky…
One moment proved fateful for a group of teenagers -- and not just because it's the moment they all happened to die. At the moment of their deaths, they were snatched forward into the future and remade in a world they hardly recognize.
