IMPETUOUS LADY
Impudent, outspoken Charmian Crewes was outraged by plans to match her with the notorious Earl of Wexford. Refusing even to meet such a scoundrel, the impetuous miss set out in the dark of night for her aunt's home in Paris. When her coachman fell ill, she despaired of continuing her journey . . . until she saw the tall stranger watching her from the shadows. He seemed strong and able, so she hired him on the spot. It was only later that she realized how brazenly handsome he was, and how scandalously forward! But by then it was too late to turn back ... from both her impulsive scheme and her newly awakened passions!

IMPROPER LORD
With remarkable looks, abundant wealth, and a desirable address, the Earl of Wexford could melt the coldest of feminine hearts, and frequently did. He had no desire to leg-shackle himself to the reputedly shrewish Miss Crewes and had, in fact, done all he could to avoid making her acquaintance. But when he chanced upon her on a dark London street and she begged him to escort her to France, he had to agree. For now that he knew what a beauty she was, he had to see what manner of woman would go to such lengths to avoid his attentions ... and what it would take to change her mind!
