Death Threat — Arleen Gabrio

Miss Jenny from the Purple Heart Dude Ranch is planning on marrying Sheriff Frank Troyer. The problem is the threatening letter Miss Jenny gets in the mail. So, she asks for Mike and Peter's help once again.
One Mystery leads to another mystery as the plot thickens. Mike and Peter are convinced that someone wants the ranch and the Purple Heart gold mine. That means finding a relative in the wood pile somewhere. It's a long stretch but it's the only solution that makes sense. But then, who says life makes any sense to start with!
Mike, Peter and their crew, including two cats, two dogs, one Buster the monkey and one Jolly Roger the parrot who likes talking pirate talk, take off to the Purple Heart Dude Ranch to watch over and help Miss Jenny with her wedding plans. As usual, things happen.
It's another fun filled mystery at Carol's house.
