Dead Men Don't Pose is the first in a series of Yoga Mysteries introducing Ginger Frye, Private Eye, in Portland, Oregon. When the man on the towel next to Ginger during a Bikram Hot Yoga class fails to get up from Savasana, Dead Man's Pose, that ends each session, she discovers that he is indeed dead. He turns out to be the gay partner of City Hall's First Commissioner Saul Apple. Suspicious, Apple hires Ginger to discover the cause of his friend's demise. The ensuing adventure takes Ginger from Hollywood to Tokyo to Malaysia where she unwittingly unearths an international drug ring and almost loses her own life. Meanwhile in Portland, Lt. Detective David Hernandez keeps the home fires burning on Oregon crime... and in Ginger's heart.
