Jessica Montford took time off from her job and rushed to her uncle's post hotel when he notified her he was dying. Luckily her uncle was in better shape than Jessica had expected, but the hotel he owned--the Sea House--was badly neglected. Clearly someone was trying to sabotage the place and chase the guests away. While Jessica tried to figure out who and why, she was unwittingly drawn to Gregg Carlson, the handsome moody hotel manager, and Roy Schiller, the Sea House's young chief of maintenance who desperately needed more money to run the machinery smoothly.
