The book is a story of a fifteen year old boy who accidently comes upon a dormant flying saucer. Craig is hiking alone in the mountains on his way to fish in Pristine Lake in Montana. The flying saucer has lain dormant on the ledge of a limestone cliff since its shutdown two hundred years before. The young boy's brain waves re-activate the flying saucer for its new teenage boy commander. After returning home Craig must prove to his parents that he is telling them the truth about finding and now being the commander of a flying saucer. his parents are in tears fearing their son has suffered a severe head injury while hiking. What else would account for such a bizarre story? To prove to them he doesn't have a head injury Craig telepathically tells, Eck, the on-board computer, to fly the UFO to the field below his parents hillside home. Upon arrival of the flying saucer, now hovering over the corn field pandemonium ensues. The local television station reporters arrive on scene to investigate the UFO sighting. Also, Americans and Russian military units have spotted the UFO on their radar screens. Now, it is a race by two Russian spies stationed in the United States to find the UFO before the United States Air Force can locate it. The book includes many humorous adventures. One is where Craig has Eck, the on-board computer, fly the UFO over the high school stadium during a night football game. He too shows it to his girlfriend, still unaware that the Soviet spies are now trying to capture him and his flying saucer. Craig doesn't have a clue on how his life will be changed. He is completely unaware of the ramifications of his having complete control over an alien space vehicle. Now, he has Russian spies after him and the U.S. Air Force hot on his trail. This book is an exciting read for those with imagination.
