After another visit to parents, while Kara is sitting at Heathrow Airport, returning to California, she reflects on the past. What has lead up to a marriage proposal suddenly made by Jon, someone who has been in her life forever? Nagging doubts still remain between them of issues that were not resolved. A three months' ultimatum is given by Jon to make a final decision - his pledge to her is irrevocable. By accepting, Kara would have to give up everything she has worked so hard to achieve.
