Coffee to Die For
The Price of Coffee Can Break You...
By occupation, history professor Teodora Morelli dwells on the past, but it's her family's present that always demands her attention. Teddy finds herself at a Seattle coffee roasting factory where her brother-in-law botanist Dr. Leo Faber has invited a select group to sample a unique blend derived from a newly nurtured, naturally chocolate-flavored coffee plant. The tasting is a success, but Leo's marriage to Teddy's sister Daisy is in shambles after he departs for his lab accompanied by his young nubile assistant. And before the evening is out, a lifeless Leo is found in a pool of blood on the floor of the university greenhouse ... and the hugely valuable coffee plants are missing.

Or Even Kill You
As suspicion points toward Daisy as Leo's killer, Teddy leaps into the fray hoping to clear her sister. Yet it becomes apparent that Leo was into more than raising a new strain of coffee as Teddy unearths vegetation of an illegal nature, drug deals and a huge wad of cash. With too many suspects and too few clues, Teddy needs the ways and the beans if she is going to unmask Leo's murderer.
