Raised on a ranch on backwater planet Clayton by his widowed mother, Gwen, Mitchel is being groomed to take over the ranch from his mother some day. He also, from almost birth, has been trained in martial arts.
As the years pass, his mother has a melt down and after calling some one on a com link his mother always had in her right ear, Mitchel soon begins to realize that something is slightly different about his mother and her friends.
