Sister Cynthia Patricia Smith was a nun, but far from an order that had been dissolved to become merely a part of the Church Universal. As a cloistered nun she had no chance to go among those who needed God's helping hand and rescue them if only for a night off the streets or a meal or two. She would have never delivered as many babies as she had over the years confined to a nunnery. As was her habit she became different people to go to different places. She became a prostitute looking blonde to sit in a bar and urge girls looking to pick up a date and take them back to a girl's shelter. Pregnant girls were the same way coming off the street or beneath some overpass where life had left them. With her tattooed breast and her buzz cut and scar filled scalp she hung out at places that nuns in their refined starched habits would not be caught dead. One evening she recognized the teenage daughter of a man that she knew from the Poet's Society where she attended as one of her mousy characters. Pulling the stoned girl out of the dance club she put her on her old loud Harley and called the girl's father. Karen Wentworth did not recognize her father's friend in this costume. She knew Pat Smith as a conservative business woman, not a biker freak The revelation set the course for love to grow between the motherless girl and the nun in her disguises. The years that followed only got both Patricia Smith and Karen Wentworth more entangled in God's work that ever before.
