After the events of "Century Soldier Destinies Ghost" the Ascension have been decreasing in numbers, and as time moves on the war between the Unity G.R.D.F. and the Ascension has become nothing more than a cleanup operation for Burton and the rest of the Unity organisation.
With the absence of a true opposing military force to stand against them, it almost seems as though an era of peace rests on the horizon for everyone in the world Viridian...Though this is not the case, somewhere in plain sight a force of plain heinous evil stands right in front of Colonel Michael Burton and he cannot see it, in a brewing conflict that will test the very faith of Michael and his comrades, pain will be felt and lives will be lost as the hands of the doomsday clock roll on with a new type of threat that will rob the world of its very identity by the hands of some of the worlds most dangerous and powerful men.
