The Adventures of Junior and Spike the Wonder Dog. Book 15: Canoeing in Canada, a children's book written and illustrated by Moshe. Dad, Junior and Spike are driving in Old Red when they spot a canoe for sale at a yard sale. Dad buys the canoe in the next day they are off to Canada. They pass through Utah, where Dad tells Junior about Mormons coming from Missouri and Illinois in the 1800s to escape religious persecution. In Idaho, Dad tells Junior about skiing and potato growing. The family arrives in Canada where they launch their canoe in a huge lake. The family loads their supplies into the canoe before journeying along the lakeshore. They see a squirrel, skunk, Junior catches a lake trout then they pitch a tent for the night. The next morning they have breakfast before continuing their canoeing adventure. They see a huge grizzly bear, moose, elk and a badger. After a few days, they load up Old Red and drive back towards Arizona, while Dad tells Junior about Jesuits and their exploration of North America.
