Dale Miller, an ex-military special operative, and Charley Payne, a former CIA agent, have been called on by the CIA to serve their country in a most unusual way. A soldier who was held captive for months and subjected to cruel, inhumane acts of torture holds a dangerous secret in his shattered mind, and it is Miller's and Payne's job to protect him.
