Be prepared to chuckle and be startled as Flora BeGora expands on the investigative abilities she discovered after an early retirement. Her curiosity is again activated when a new memorial inscription mysteriously appears on the Lovers Leap bench in Port BreeZe. Who is this person being remembered? Her questions lead her from Port BreeZe, with her neighbor Phim Bellefontaine in tow, all the way to Manitoulin Island. Here they search for stolen art work created by a young handicapped painter who drowned under unfortunate circumstances. On this far-flung chase, she tracks the thieves marketing the art work, repeatedly encounters a threatening individual on a similar, though slightly different mission, and keeps an entire police department on its toes. Enjoy Flora's inquisitive personality, the return of friends from previous investigations and some new ones besides all set in the vastness of that big island separating Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
