Wherever she went, SPACEBREAD, the space roving cat, never had to look for trouble; it came to her. That was one of the reasons the figlet, Klimmet BarKloof, liked traveling with her. It was always exciting. Of course, one problem at a time was never enough for Spacebread. In order to save the life of her companion, the alien figlet, Spacebread the Wondercat, must find the Flame-that-is-not-a-flame on the fabled planet Osghan.
