There are some pretty weird grown-ups living in Bailey City. But could the new mysterious student teacher who is on the Bailey City football team really be out to get the students of Bailey Elementary?

"I just had an awful idea," Howie said.

Eddie shook his finger in front of Howie's nose. "How many times do I have to tell you," he said. "Thinking is dangerous!"

"What does Mr. Bogey have to do with cookies and a football under Huey's bed?" Melody asked.

Howie swallowed and looked around the playground to make sure no one else was listening. "Because," he finally said, "Mr. Bogey is the bogeyman!"
