Blood on the Moon — Basil Copper

The laconic L.A. private eye Mike Faraday is hired by a vast security organisation whose futuristic, apparently thief-proof vaults have been robbed of five million dollars belonging to a millionairess. Mike is led into a tangle of intrigue and death as he struggles to find the identity of the Mr Big behind the theft. All the trails point to former racketeer and nightclub owner Alex Rocco. Or is it the deadly hit-man Jack Schwartz?
