No one had ever heard of a blind Private Investigator until Wendee Gene Jade opened her office. When she was 16 years old she was in a car accident with her cousin, Johnny Lee driving. She ended up crippled and blind, but that didn't stop her from working hard to regain her legs and work with her blindness. With the help of her cousin and computer genius, Johnny Lee and her childhood friend and photographer, Jessica she manages to be a success. Her seeing eye dog, Buddy, is a retired Police Dog who was injured on the job and retired because of his injuries. Her latest case of trying to find a missing young woman before she is killed may be the one case she will fail at. Her maybe boyfriend, Detective Ross Anderson is her support at the police department. Although Ross is more than willing to work with Gene he is also hoping to get Gene to make up her mind about their relationship. Between her horse ranch and her PI work she has her hands full when everything gets out of control.
