Bleak Heritage
Alan Mailland had been estranged from his parents because of his marriage to Rhona, but it had been his wish that his son Robin be brought up at his family home in Scotland. When Alan died, Rhona, after much heart-searching, agreed to let Robin go to his grandparents. Little did she know, however, of the danger and hatred which lay in wait for her small son, or of the struggle she would have for her own happiness and peace of mind.
