The tale of an ordinary boy with extraordinary problems.



Billy Thomas is an ordinary farm boy with extraordinary problems. He survives a wagon wreck, nearly drowns, marries, foils a kidnapping, deals with two criminals, and is kidnapped by a third. He escapes from the third, but can't find his wife or his mom and 3 brothers when he comes home. He eventually finds his mom and brothers in Kentucky, and his wife later in Boston. He confronts the 3 origninal criminals again, has troubles with the Ku Klux Klan, and is eventually shot by a member of that group.
